Ecodudu harnesses black soldier flies to convert organic waste, that would otherwise end up in landfills polluting the environment, into high-quality protein for animal feed and organic fertilisers, thereby producing affordable and sustainable agricultural inputs that improve soil health and crop yields.
The cofounders, Starlin Farah and Adan Mohammed, have built a circular bioeconomy model that addresses multiple challenges simultaneously: waste management, expensive and protein rich animal feed and fertiliser imports.
