No single actor can close the gender gap in entrepreneurship alone, and real progress requires shared spaces where voices converge, data speaks and solutions scale.
What we do
- Design and host events that spotlight women entrepreneurs and shift investment narratives.
- Provide thought leadership at key forums.
- Build platforms for collective problem-solving and coordinated action.
- Facilitate multi-stakeholder convenings that bring together funders, accelerators, researchers and entrepreneurs.
- Launch and coordinate Gender Action Collectives, coalitions of organisations driving solutions through data, dialogue and advocacy.
A 2026 flagship initiative
We’re launching flagship Gender Action Collectives in Uganda and Tanzania to unite gender-focused support organizations and women entrepreneurs.
These collectives are open to partners committed to transforming Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
These collectives will drive measurable change by:
- Collecting data on the demographics and needs of women entrepreneurs and measuring the impact of various efforts undertaken in the ecosystem so far.
- Leveraging the collective expertise of its members to co-create solutions.
- Driving meaningful conversations on the experiences of women entrepreneurs via research and thought leadership.
- Advocating for policy changes that unlock financing and opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
- Tracking progress and measuring impact via robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
